Next steps towards mainstream systemic change

Creating communities of resilience, challenging the policy environment

Dear Climate Majority,

Effective change means addressing the high-level systemic issues driving the environmental crisis.

Our incubator initiatives are doing just that; challenging business as usual, from the way land is owned and managed, to how our political and legal systems operate.

The CMP is working towards extraordinary change, with limited resources. It’s never easy mentioning money - but rather than flicking past this message, if you feel in your bones that this work needs to be done, do please consider donating to our crowdfunder. There’s still time to help fund the next round of amazing initiatives, helping citizens to find their part to play in system change.

Next: as we welcome a new season, we’re kick-starting two autumn campaigns.

On business: We urgently need better government policies to decarbonise our economy. But it’s the role of business-people to step up and lobby for this change. We’re working to convene a powerful coalition of business representatives to push for change in the policy environment.

On climate anxiety: Creating conditions for truth to lead to action is a core focus of CMP. This includes investing in communities of resilience, where people can share their worry about the coming chaos and act - rather than resisting the truth, remaining alone and sitting still.

If you have a particular interest or expertise in any of these forthcoming campaign areas, please get in touch.

Many thanks

The CMP Team

P.S. Thanks so much for considering supporting our crowdfunder: it’s people like you who can make this happen. Please also share with your networks, to help more people find a part to play.
